A vehicle expert prepares the repair cost calculation – you receive it as a PDF. You will usually receive the calculation within one working day once we have all the required and usable documents – at weekends and on public holidays it may take longer.

How does payment work?

You simply pay by invoice – no deposit and no credit card.

You report the damage with photos in the ClaimTec portal.
Our vehicle experts prepare the repair cost calculation. In the portal you immediately see the assessed damage amount as a range, together with the price.
You automatically receive the invoice by email.
As soon as your payment has been received, we automatically unlock the exact amount and all documents in the portal and notify you by email.

Good to know: an unpaid calculation remains available for 30 days. If you still need the documents after that, just get in touch with us.

What you receive

You receive a professional repair cost calculation as a PDF, prepared with the SilverDAT calculation system. It lists the expected repair costs for your vehicle damage in a clear, traceable way.

SilverDAT is also used by insurers and independent assessors: the calculation is based on manufacturer-compliant repair data and is vehicle-specific – for virtually all common makes and models.

Calculation or expert damage report?

The calculation is based on your photos and information – the vehicle is not inspected. Hidden or pre-existing damage can therefore not be conclusively assessed, and the calculation is not an expert report for evidence purposes. If vehicle value, diminished value or a possible total loss also need to be assessed, UnfallExperten Team GmbH supports you with an independent damage report.

Is the calculation an expert damage report?

No. The calculation quantifies the expected repair costs based on the documents submitted – without inspection and without assessment of pre-existing damage; it is not an expert report for evidence purposes. How many photos do I need?

The guided damage recording shows you step by step which shots are required – directly with your smartphone. Make sure the photos are sharp and well lit: we only calculate what can be seen in the photos.
